Face to Face: How To Open The Conversation

These tips will help you to open a conversation with people you SUSPECT may be interested in coming into the business. Your purpose is to make them curious and wanting more information. Once they ask you for the information, they are now a PROSPECT.

Keep in mind the three rules so you can approach people on a confident but open-minded level.

Create Your One-Liner

When meeting someone for the first time it is easy and natural for you to:

1. Ask them what they do
2. Listen while they tell you.
3. Then when they reciprocate and ask what you do…
4. Have a one-liner ready that is natural for you to say and will leave them curious. DO NOT SAY, "I CREATE HEALTH AND WEALTH..." as that is a worn out phrase and people will be turned off.

George Antarr gave a great example of a one liner at the Leadership Conference.
George, what do you do? “I take advantage of the media frenzy around Stem Cells in my business. And how do you like (insert whatever they do)?”

Drop a bomb and turn it back to them. If they are interested in what you do, they will ask.
This one liner will peak their curiosity enough and does not shove you down their throats. It allows them to ask for more information.

The Art of Changing a Suspect Into a Prospect

The purpose of Step One is to turn your SUSPECT into a PROSPECT by getting your PROSPECT to ask for the information in Step 2. Nothing else!!!!! The less you speak the better.

As your are listening to them, you will find out which of the 4 REASONS interests your PROSPECT enough to ask you for more information. Then use the 6 MAGIC WORDS to move them to the TOOLS.


4 Reasons to Start a Home-Based Business

There are only four reasons that someone gets into network marketing. Your only job here is to get people into the conversation enough to find out which one motivates them.

PRODUCT: Are you interested in a completely new paradigm for health?
CHANGE: Are you looking for change in your lifestyle or career?
MONEY: Are you making as much money as you are worth?
TAX: Are you paying too much in taxes?

Start by listening. Listen to them to find out which of the reasons applies. They will tell you! Then use the Six Magic Words…

The 6 Magic Words: "If you could find a way…"

Now that you have gotten someone into the conversation enough to know what their reason is, use the 6 magic words. This is where your suspect becomes your prospect. What is a prospect? A person who wants the information that you have and wants it now!

Use the 6 words exactly because that is the perfect way to STOP SELLING people and START INVITING them to buy. You don’t have anything for them other than information and they have to ASK for it. Once they have asked for the information they are a PROSPECT and potential teammate. Now you give them the tools to figure it out.


Scripting For the Phone

For people you know (even if you haven't talked to them in a while)
"I've run into something really unique - let me 3-way you into a recording that will tell you more about it. Or go to my website (choose one or two – don’t overwhelm them). Check it out and you'll know what I know. I'd really like your opinion on it."
For people you don't know (leads or any other home based business people)
"Do you have or have you ever had a home based business? How did it go for you?" (Listen for the four reasons!!!! Then ask) "If you could find a way.

Remember!

The purpose of Step One is to turn your SUSPECT into a PROSPECT by getting your PROSPECT to ask for the information from Step 2. Nothing else!!!!! The less you speak the better.
